NOTE:
-If you are using an OEM Surron motor you can safely run 12KW of power. We have been running 14KW on an OEM motor with 72V for over 2 years!
-If you are using a stock Surron battery you can safely run 7.5kw of power (non bypassed). Anything higher will result in unsafe voltage sage.

EBMX X-9000 V3 Wheel Lift Assist System
Overview
- Wheel Lift Assist (WLA) is developed in-house by EBMX using real-time IMU data.
- The system can reduce or modulate throttle and apply regenerative braking based on user-defined settings.
- WLA is fully rider-tunable for stunting, launching, or anti-rotation control.
- Important:Â WLA will never apply throttle on its own. It only reduces throttle and applies braking through logic-based intervention.
Activation & Setup
- Accept the waiver and enable WLA via the EBMX app.
- Double-tap the „On“ button on your display to activate WLA (display icon may vary).
- Set the IMU level using Level 0 to activate Auto Horizon calibration.
- Auto Horizon delay is adjustable between 0–30 seconds or can be disabled.
Throttle Off Set Angle
- Defined angle where throttle is cut completely.
- Within 10° of this angle, modulation is aggressive.
- Recommended to set beyond your intended balance point to prevent premature throttle cut-off.
- Default setting for launching is 50°, with increased Modulation Control Percentage for responsiveness.
Start Set Angle
- Angle at which throttle modulation begins (detected by IMU).
- Suggested 10–15° for heavier bikes to allow natural lift before modulation starts.
- Lower values = smoother, earlier modulation. Higher values = more delayed engagement.
- Minimum 30° gap is required between Start Set Angle and Throttle Off Set Angle.
Maximum Set Angle
- Angle where regenerative braking is applied (if Braking Force is enabled).
- Braking strength is determined by settings in Power Modes & Levels.
- Braking effect varies by motor and battery system.
- If Braking Force is disabled, no action occurs at this angle.
Braking Force Percentage
- Defines how much regenerative braking is applied at the Maximum Set Angle.
- Highly effective when used with aftermarket batteries.
Auto Horizon Timer
- When in Level 0, the IMU levels itself automatically based on this delay timer.
- Customizable between 0 and 30 seconds or can be disabled entirely.
Modulation Control Percentage
- Controls how much throttle is reduced when modulation is active.
- Lower percentage = more throttle = more aggressive response.
- Higher percentage = less throttle = smoother response.
Speed
- Optional setting to automatically deactivate WLA when a set speed is exceeded.
Rise Aggression
- Uses IMU angle speed and acceleration to adjust modulation behavior.
- Lower setting = faster rotation.
- Higher setting = slower, more controlled lift.
- Works in balance with Modulation Control % for launch control tuning.
- Recommended: keep at default and tune using Modulation % if you’re new.
Timer
- Specifies how long WLA remains in control of the wheel lift event.
